Job summary

ProTalent Limited, an independent firm of chartered accountants in Brighton, seeks an Accounts Manager to own a portfolio of owner-managed clients, review their accounts, tax and VAT, and maintain direct client relationships. You will report to the directors, manage workflow, and develop junior staff, while contributing to ongoing Xero rollout and process improvements.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 3+ years post-qualified experience in practice.
• Experience reviewing accounts, corporation tax and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed clients from planning to sign-off.
• Reviewing accounts, corporation tax and VAT prepared by the team.
• Meeting clients to discuss results, tax and planning points.
• Managing workflow, WIP, billing and recoverability.
• Developing trainees and juniors below you.
• Collaborating with directors on process and Xero rollout.
