Job summary

UBS Jersey is seeking a professional to join the Global FIM Segment, working with a client advisor to manage a demanding client portfolio and provide administrative support across front-office activities. You will interact with clients by phone and in person, handling account openings, deposits, FX, payments, and closures while coordinating product maturities and data updates.

The role offers exposure to a broad product range within Global Wealth Management, with a collaborative team in Jersey

Qualifications

• IOC level 3 or higher is required (can be completed after joining).
• Several years of front office experience and knowledge of banking products.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with UBS applications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• You will work closely with a client advisor and together be responsible for a demanding client portfolio.
• You will support the client advisors in their daily business, including administrative and service-oriented tasks.
• You will have telephone (and personal) contact with clients and handle specific client instructions and inquiries, such as preparing account opening documents, processing fixed-term deposits, foreign exchange transactions, payment orders, account closures, etc.
• You will take responsibility for coordinating product maturities and pending tasks. If necessary, you will make changes to client static data and independently carry out various clarification and control tasks.
• You will act as central point of contact between the client, back office, and various specialist departments. In doing so, you will get to know and apply the broad product range of Global Wealth Management.

Your Skills And Experience

What we are looking for:

• IOC level 3 or higher required (can be completed post joining)
• Ideally (several years of) professional experience in the front office area as well as good knowledge of banking and financial products
• Confident use of common MS Office and IT tools; familiarity with UBS applications is an advantage

• a reliable individual with strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
• able to set the right priorities and coordinate tasks efficiently
• independent, responsible, and able to remain calm even in hectic situations
• a team player with quick comprehension and good communication skills
