Job summary

Centrick is seeking a proactive Client Account Manager in Birmingham to strengthen client relationships and coordinate across operations, marketing and finance. You will handle queries, monitor service delivery, and drive continuous improvement in client outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have client-facing experience, knowledge of property-related processes, and advanced Excel abilities. The role offers a strong benefits package and a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role (Client Account Management, Property Management, Customer Success).
  • Knowledge of property-related legal processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, data analysis, reporting and graph creation.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key contact for queries and service matters.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client requests quickly and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings to discuss service delivery and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce KPI and performance reports for senior stakeholders and clients with clear insights.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same, but the tasks below offer a glimpse of what to expect.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for queries, issues, and service-related matters.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure client requests and enquiries are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings to discuss service delivery, performance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce and present KPI and performance reports to senior stakeholders and clients, providing clear insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor client accounts to ensure services are delivered in line with contractual obligations and agreed service levels.
  • Respond to leaseholder, freeholder, and client complaints in a timely, professional, and solutions-focused manner.
  • Liaise with solicitors, clients, and internal teams regarding ongoing property management matters, ensuring effective communication throughout.
  • Support the successful delivery of property management operations by coordinating activity across multiple teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, client experience, and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all client information, actions, and communications are documented appropriately.
What You Need to Succeed

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role, such as Client Account Management, Property Management, Customer Success, or a similar stakeholder-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of property-related legal processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and graph creation.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable qualifications:
  • A finance-related qualification, or currently working towards a recognised finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Preferred Experience:

  • Approximately two years' experience working within a legal environment, ideally with exposure to property law, real estate, leasehold management, or a related sector.
