Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clerical Administrator for the Diagnostic Imaging department on a 6‑month fixed‑term, full‑time basis. The role supports patients and staff by handling enquiries, booking appointments, and providing non-clinical information with a focus on accuracy and excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will manage data entry, liaise with wards, and provide reception support while upholding information governance standards.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience with keyboard and word-processing and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Deal with enquiries from patients, staff and visitors.
• Lead clinic coordination under guidance.
• Input data accurately and manage data entry tasks.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth department operations.
• Monitor patient waiting times and inform patients of delays.
• Coordinate IP appointments with wards and departments.
