Job summary

ALS Laboratories (UK) Ltd is seeking two Cleaning Technicians for our Rotherham site. This part-time, permanent role offers 25 hours per week with a Monday to Friday shift from 7:00am to 12:00noon, enabling an early start and free afternoons.

You will clean offices, welfare areas and other spaces, following schedules to maintain high standards. We value attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Dependable and punctual due to early start.
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas (offices, welfare areas, corridors, etc.).
• Follow site cleaning schedules and work instructions to ensure consistent standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Replenish consumables (soap, paper products) where required.
• Report hazards, spillages, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.

About the Positions

Location: Rotherham Contract: Part time, permanent Hours: 25 per week Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 12:00noon

The Day to Day

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas (e.g., offices, welfare areas, corridors and other operational spaces as assigned).
• Follow site cleaning schedules and work instructions to ensure consistent standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Replenish consumables (e.g., soap, paper products) where required.
• Report any hazards, spillages, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.
