Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a front-line cleaning team across nationwide sites, including recruitment and staff development to maintain high service standards. The role requires ensuring task schedules are followed, health and safety procedures are applied, and timely training is provided.

The successful candidate will monitor cleanliness, manage uniforms and stock, and address issues promptly while coordinating with the line manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning teams and delivering high service standards.
• Ability to recruit and develop cleaning staff and manage performance.
• Good communication skills and reliable, with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cleaning team and ensure delivery of routine and periodic cleaning.
• Ensure staff follow task schedules and health & safety procedures.
• Conduct training as required and manage stock, uniforms and supplies.
• Resolve issues promptly and escalate to the line manager when needed.
