Job summary

Urban Playground - Up No2 Ltd in London is seeking a Cleaning Team Leader to manage cleaning operations across the venue, ensuring customer and staff areas are spotless and safe. You will lead shifts, assign tasks, and support day-to-day venue operations in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year cleaning experience, supervisory exposure, and a strong focus on health and safety. Evening, weekend, and holiday cover is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
• Experience within hospitality, leisure, or high-volume venues.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the cleaning team during shifts.
• Allocate tasks and ensure cleaning schedules are completed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all customer and back-of-house areas.
• Regularly inspect and maintain toilet facilities.
• Support venue operations through table clearing, glass collection, and housekeeping.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and report shortages.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Escalate maintenance, cleanliness, and safety issues to management.
• Assist with opening, closing, and deep cleaning duties.
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
