University of Essex is seeking a Team Clean Supervisor within Soft FM Services to lead, manage and motivate a team of cleaning staff across the Colchester campus, delivering a high standard of customer-focused service.

You will ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements, supervise performance, and complete departmental paperwork accurately, contributing to the university’s welcoming environment for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing team(s) of semi-skilled staff in a customer focused environment.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to cleaning materials and working practises.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate Soft FM operational staff to provide a quality customer focused service to the academic and residential estate.
• Responsible for accurate completion of departmental statutory paperwork.
