Job summary

SBFM is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to lead and work alongside a cleaning team at Stansted Airport. The role requires supervising duties, training new staff, and maintaining high cleaning standards during the 15:00-21:00 shift pattern.

Applicants should have cleaning experience and the ability to motivate a team while delivering excellent service to staff and customers. The role includes uniform and equipment provision plus support from area and regional management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cleaners to ensure high standards are met.
• Allocate tasks to the team and ensure cleaning specifications are followed.
• Assist with on-site audits and inspections.
• Induction, training and support for new starters.
• Vacuuming and cleaning of all floor areas.
• Dust control and removal of litter.
• Sanitising all areas and replenishing soap, toilet rolls and hand towels.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our business supervising and leading our cleaning team based within Stansted AirportCM24 1QW.

This role will suit someone who has experience of supervising a team; or an experienced cleaner who is ready to take the next step in their career. Whilst this role is a supervising role, the main duties of the role will involve cleaning alongside your wider team.

All of your uniform, equipment and products will be provided to allow you to carry out your role to a high standard, as well as the support of an Area and Regional Management Team.

Available Shift Pattern's:

• 15.00 - 21.00 Monday to Friday

Duties will include:

• Supervising a team of cleaners to ensure high standards are being met


• Allocation of tasks to team and ensure cleaning specification is being met


• Assistance with on-site audits


• Induction, training and support for new starters


• Vacuuming and cleaning offloor areas.


• Dust control


• Removal and disposal oflitter


• Sanitising all areas


• Replenishment of soap, toilet rolls and handtowels.

The Candidate:

• Ability to lead and motivate a team


• Previous cleaning experience


• Reliable and punctual.


• Polite and courteous to all staff and customers.
