• Experience supervising cleaning staff in large facilities.
• Ability to design and deliver induction and refresher training; knowledge of EA practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise cleaning staff to meet EA standards.
• Carry out induction and refresher training in line with EA practice.
• Liaise with building manager on day-to-day cleaning issues.
• Investigate complaints and take corrective action.
• Ensure materials and equipment are stocked and maintained within budget.
• Monitor materials and equipment performance and advise when unsuitable.
• Recommend changes to improve economy, standards or ease of operation.
• Ensure cleaning standards meet EA standards.
• Allocate and manage keys for staff and secure at day end.
• Plan periodic work with service users and report in advance of school closures.
• Maintain attendance, holiday and absence records in EA systems.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and equipment.
