Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead an on-site team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will coordinate and train staff, maintain COSHH compliance and be the main contact for clients and managers, reporting to the Site Manager.

Key duties include supervising a team, conducting training, ensuring safe methods, and resolving on-site issues to keep operations running smoothly. 5:30am-10:30am shifts are available.

Qualifications

• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team.
• Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills.
• Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety compliance on similar sites.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.
• Strong communication skills for client liaison and team coordination.
• Proactive and adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Be the client's and managers' main point of contact on site.
• Coordinate and drive a team on site while completing core cleaning duties.
• Support the manager with training and induction of new staff and training records.
• Lead by example, follow safe systems of work and method statements.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed to a high standard.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment and maintain them in good condition.
• Address operational issues and find effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
