Job summary

Thorn Baker Facilities Management is seeking a Site-Based Cleaning Supervisor for a flagship corporate site in the United Kingdom. The role oversees day-to-day cleaning operations, delivering high standards across a 32,000 sq ft headquarters with a dedicated events floor.

You will lead a team of cleaners across day and evening shifts, ensuring top service levels while managing staffing, quality checks and client relationships. This is a Monday–Friday, site-based role with no weekend work.

• Experience managing cleaning operations in a commercial or corporate environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience leading large cleaning teams and maintaining high service standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cleaning operation across a 32,000 sq ft headquarters building.
• Lead a team of approximately 5 cleaners during the day and 11-12 cleaners on the evening shift.
• Ensure the building, including the events floor, is maintained to the highest standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training and performance.
• Build strong relationships with the client and respond to operational requirements.
• Manage rotas and ensure adequate cover across all shifts.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain exceptional service delivery.

We are recruiting for a Site-Based Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operation within a prestigious 32,000 sq ft headquarters building. The site has recently been consolidated to include a dedicated events floor, creating a varied and fast-paced working environment.

Your Role

Required

This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working. Flexibility is required to support the operation across the following shifts:

• Mid: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
• Late: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
