Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Team at Retford Oaks High School, DN22 7BP. This role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00-08:30 and 15:30-18:00, year-round. You will oversee the cleaning team and maintain high standards of hygiene across the site.

The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience, some supervisory exposure, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. DBS checks and right-to-work verification apply.

About the Role

Based at Retford Oaks High School, DN22 7BP, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 08:30 and 15:30 to 18:00, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across the site while supporting and supervising the cleaning team to ensure excellent service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include

• Supervising and supporting a team of cleaning colleagues

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms


• Wiping down tables and surfaces


• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas

Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour
