Job summary

Vertas is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to join the Facilities Team at Mansfield Bus Station. The role is 25 hours per week across Fri/Sat/Sun, with shift timings and year-round sleeve.

You will lead the day-to-day cleaning operation on site, supervise colleagues, and ensure high cleanliness standards with strict health and safety adherence. Ideal candidates will have prior cleaning experience, some supervisory exposure, and strong communication skills to deliver excellent service

Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning experience is essential.
  • Supervisory or team leader experience is desirable.
  • Good communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting.
  • A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.
  • The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting cleaning colleagues.
  • Allocating cleaning duties and monitoring standards.
  • Cleaning toilets and washrooms.
  • Wiping down surfaces and touch points.
  • Hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
  • Reporting cleaning supply requirements and site issues.

About the Role

Based at Mansfield Bus Station, NG18 1SU, you will be working 25 hours a week, Friday 4:00pm to 12:10am, Saturday 2:30pm to 12:10am and Sunday 2:30pm to 11:10pm, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness standards whilst leading the day to day cleaning operation on site.

  • Supervising and supporting cleaning colleagues
