Job summary

Vertas is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Leeds West Academy. You will work on a zero hour, ad hoc basis with shifts Mon-Fri 10am-12pm, covering 39 weeks per year, to maintain high cleanliness standards and delight customers.

Ideal candidates have a can-do attitude, ability to work independently, strong communication, and a commitment to safety. DBS checks may be applicable, and you must have the right to work in the UK.

About the Role:

Based at Leeds West Academy, LS13 1DQ, you will be working on a zero hour contract on an ADHOC basis, shifts to cover would be Mon - Fri 10am - 12pm, 39 weeks per year. You’ll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
