Job summary

OCS is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site in Inverness. You will supervise cleaning staff, ensure high cleanliness standards and contribute to a safe, hygienic environment, while coordinating rotas, holidays and training.

Working hours from 10.30am to 7.00pm, you will interact with clients, manage stock and audits, and maintain accurate records. A Right to Work in the UK and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.
• Background screening will be conducted before starting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team, including rotas, holidays and performance; deliver training to cleaners and keep records up to date.
• Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms; cover other ad hoc areas as needed.
• Conduct weekly cleaning audits and escalate any areas of concern.

About The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site. At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Working Hours - from 10.30am-19.00pm

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
• You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise
• You will be required to undergo background screening prior to starting in this role.
