Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a cleaning supervisor to cover Saturday and Sunday early shifts in Eastleigh. You will manage rotas, monitor site specifications, and ensure cleaning standards meet contract requirements.

The role involves audits, staff management, training liaison, and reporting to line managers; opportunities for development within a large facilities management group.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure rotas cover operation needs and review on site regularly.
  • Understand site specifications and monitor activity frequencies.
  • Review specifications with the customer regularly.
  • Ensure cleaning standards meet specification and complete activities.
  • Provide cover for cleaners when absent or on holiday.
  • Arrange and complete audits with the customer.
  • Maintain audit scores reflecting on-site standards.
  • Report issues to Line Manager/Compliance Manager/Account Director.
  • Maintain documentation for equipment and Next Steps with customer.
  • Meet customers on site visits and communicate relevant info.
  • Respond professionally to customer feedback and maintain confidentiality.
  • Identify opportunities to develop services on sites and improve offerings.
  • Submit timesheets, holiday and sickness forms on time.

About The Role:
Working Pattern Saturday/Sunday 5.30am-8.30am
  • Ensure all rotas are in place to cover the needs of the operation taking into account peak periods. Review rota on site on a regular basis.
  • Establish a thorough understanding of the site specifications for the site you are responsible for and monitor the frequencies of all activities.
  • Review of the specification on a regular basis alongside the customer.
  • Ensure that cleaning standards are met to the specification by the completion of cleaning activity.
  • Provide cover for cleaners who are absent or on holiday.
  • Arrange and complete audits with the customer.
  • Ensure all audit scores are an accurate reflection of the standard on site.
  • Agree and action any next steps and work to implement these in a timely manner.
  • Check all machinery when on site.
  • Report any issues immediately to the Line Manager/Compliance Manager/Account Director
  • Ensure all documentation is completed effectively for all equipment.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with the customer by ensuring Next Steps are Met.
  • Meet the customer at each site visit and update them with any relevant information.
  • Respond to any customer feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and establish and maintain a good reputation with the customer
  • Identify opportunities to develop services on sites.
  • Take a proactive approach to improving the services offered to the customer
  • Ensure you submit timesheets / holiday and sickness forms within the given timescales.
  • Work with the Line Manager to support to effectively carry out disciplinary and grievance hearings.
  • Effectively manage new starters, ensuring their applications and correct identification are with Lot Manager within agreed timescales.
  • Monitor absence levels on sites and engage with Lot Manager to reduce any ongoing absence issues.
  • Identify any training needs for staff where necessary.
  • Liaise with head office on training requirements.
  • Complete appropriate training documentation and records.
