Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for university sites on a part-time basis (19 hours per week). You will supervise a frontline team, ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly, and manage rotas while upholding Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidance.
• Place stock orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Adhere to Food Hygiene, Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Universities on a part time basis, contracted to 19 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
