Job summary

Chartwells Universities is hiring a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Universities, contracted to 15 hours per week. You will help deliver on our promise to provide the best experiences for our clients and customers.

Shifts are set for morning pattern Mon-Fri, with responsibilities across general cleaning and hygiene to support a safe environment. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on role with flexible approach to working.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and other touchpoints regularly.
• Mop up spillages quickly and efficiently.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

• Mon: Mornings
• Tues: Mornings
• Weds: Mornings
• Thurs: Mornings
• Fri: Mornings

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our Ideal Cleaner Will

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
