Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd in Cheshunt is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to manage the cleaning operation at Brookfield Shopping Centre. You will lead a team of around ten operatives, ensure high standards, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail environment.

The role offers £14.50 per hour, around 40 hours per week, with a 5 days out of 7 shift pattern from 08:00 to 16:00. Own transport is essential to fulfil duties and coordination across the site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of approximately 10 cleaning operatives.
• Manage daily staffing levels, rosters, and schedules to ensure full site coverage.
• Recruit, induct, train, and develop team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Monitor cleaning standards through regular inspections and quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Order cleaning materials, consumables, and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and control site budgets effectively.
• Liaise with centre management, retailers, contractors, and visitors.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records relating to staffing, training, attendance, and site operations.
• Promote excellent customer service standards across the team.
