SBFM in Brentwood is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure consistently high standards on site. You will support day-to-day cleaning delivery, work with management to uphold the agreed specification, and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

• Respond to ad hoc requests from management.
• Escalate concerns to the Area Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues and managers to ensure smooth delivery of services.

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team! You will help to ensure consistently high cleaning standards, support and motivate the cleaning team, and work closely with management to ensure the site is maintained in line with the agreed specification.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the cleaning team to ensure a consistently high standard of service is delivered.
• Ensuring all areas of the site are cleaned and maintained in line with the agreed cleaning specification.
• Supporting with hands-on cleaning duties where required, including vacuuming floors, cleaning and sanitising surfaces and maintaining all areas to the required standard.
• Identifying and resolving any cleaning issues or areas requiring additional attention.
• Ensuring all health and safety legislation, company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Supporting with the training and induction of new cleaning colleagues.
• Completing regular stock checks and following the agreed process for ordering cleaning materials and supplies.
• Responding to ad hoc requests from the Management Team.
• Escalating any concerns or site-level issues to the Area Manager.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, Regional Managers and Area Managers to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
• Supporting with maintaining a positive, motivated and high-performing cleaning team.

Qualifications And Skills

• Demonstrable experience in a similar cleaning supervisory or team-leading role.
• Experience within a contract cleaning, facilities management or similar environment.
• A proactive approach with an excellent eye for detail.
• Methodical, organised and able to manage priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated, confident and approachable, with an engaging manner and a flexible, 'can-do' attitude.
• Excellent client focus and a proven track record of delivering high standards of service.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• A team player who is able to support, motivate and lead others.
