Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. You will lead and support a team of cleaners, oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and a welcoming environment within the school.

The role requires experience in cleaning or facilities, supervisory background, knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of cleaning staff to maintain exceptional standards across the school.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring all areas are clean, safe and welcoming.
• Monitor stock levels and organise cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Support the smooth running of school events, assemblies and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and safeguarding procedures.
• Work collaboratively with management to continually improve cleaning services and standards.
• Provide cover and practical support to the cleaning team when required.

Hours 27.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern 5 days per week 1.00pm - 6.30pm Predominately
