Job summary

ABM is seeking a Cleaning Operative in Bristol to deliver high standards of cleanliness and safety on site. You will support clients, visitors and colleagues, wearing the company uniform and adhering to health and safety procedures.

The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with Monday to Friday shifts 16:45–20:00, paying £14.25 per hour. A proactive and team-focused approach is essential to maintain ABM’s professional image.

• Carry out cleaning duties to a high standard in line with BICSc standards
• Follow ABM health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean, smart appearance and wear company uniform at all times
• Work proactively to support colleagues and contribute to a strong team environment
• Carry out duties as directed by the Team Leader
• Take on ad hoc duties as required by operational needs
• Interact professionally with members of the public while on site
• Recognise situations where support may be needed, including assisting in public-facing incidents or site evacuations where appropriate
• Look for opportunities to improve working practices and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
• Help ensure ABM's reputation for professionalism and quality is maintained at all times
