Job summary

ABM is recruiting for a part-time cleaning role at Castlepoint Shopping Centre. The job involves cleaning duties, supporting the trolley collection team, and upholding ABM’s professional standards. You will wear the company uniform, adhere to safety policies, and interact with the public in a courteous manner.

The role is Tuesday to Saturday 15:00–20:00, 25 hours per week, with a pay rate of £13.10 per hour. Benefits include GP access, mental health support, cycle-to-work, and more.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties and support trolley collection when required.

• Interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow supervisor instructions and suggest improvements for continuous improvement.
• Support colleagues and undertake ad hoc duties as required.
• Ensure high service standards at Castlepoint Shopping Park.

LOCATION: CASTLEPOINT SHOPPING CENTRE

WORKING HOURS: 25 HOURS PER WEEK

SHIFT PATTERN: Tuesday to Saturday inclusive 15.00 - 20.00

PAY RATE: £13.10 PER HOUR

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Tocarry out various cleaning duties and to support the trolley collection team when required.


• To always wear laundered company uniform so that Castlepoint Shopping Park’s reputation for professionalism and quality is never compromised.


• To ensure that all duties carried out are strictly in accordance with our standards & policies so that quality work is delivered meeting/exceeding our expectations.


• To ensure that all work undertaken is strictly carried out in accordance with Castlepoint & ABM’s Health and Safety policies & procedures. Moreover, to demonstrate their commitment to the fact that each Castlepoint/ABM employee has a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that of persons who may be affected by their acts/or omissions.


• Whilst at work to effectivley assist with the public in a friendly & professional manner.


• To carry out your duties as directed by the Supervisor. Moreover, to always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements to working practices exist, putting forward suggestions so that ‘continuous improvement’ is the norm.


• To work in a proactive manner, supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.


• To undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required.


• To ensure exemplary standards in the service provided at Castlepoint Shopping Park and customer service to the public are always delivered. Fellow colleagues are supported and assisted so that teamwork thrives.


• The post holder will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest standards are always adhered to. Professional always and proactively interacting with the public as required. A good team player.
