Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Cleaner to join our client site on a 4-on, 4-off rota. Shift generally runs 07:00–15:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, and duties include cleaning, vacuuming and maintaining toilets and washrooms.

You will operate a mobile toilet unit, carry out daily equipment maintenance and keep areas neat. Training is provided, with full uniform, paid holidays, pension and ongoing development opportunities within Bidvest Noonan.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred; full training will be provided.
• Comfortable working alone or in a team.
• Ability to prioritise and manage changing workload.

Responsibilities

• Clean duties including vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces and tidying areas.
• Operate a mobile toilet unit (controlled emission).
• Mechanically empty and resupply toilet systems with fresh water.
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Attend and pass a practical training test.

4 on 4 off

0700-1500 with 30min unpaid meal break

Duties as a Cleaner

• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
• Operate a mobile (controlled emission toilet) machine
• Mechanically empty a trains toilet system and resupply with fresh water
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment
• A practical and theory test will need to be completed and passed after training
• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing if necessary
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, if needed

Job role requirements as Cleaner

• Are you comfortable working alone and in a team?
• Do you have the ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload?
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided.
