Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is recruiting a Train Cleaner to join our client site. You will perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces and maintaining areas neat and tidy. Full training will be provided, and you will work both independently and as part of a team.

Roles include daily cleaning, basic equipment maintenance, and following health and safety procedures. On-site work with opportunities for progression and staff benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work alone and in a team; prioritise changing workload.
• Basic maintenance of cleaning equipment is part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust, wipe surfaces and keep areas neat and tidy.
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Receive full training on equipment operation and complete testing after training.
• Perform sweeping, scrubbing and mopping as required.
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers.
• Polish surfaces if needed.
• Clean sinks, basins and toilets in bathrooms.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces when required.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a TrainCleaner, who will work at our client’s prestigious site.

Duties as a Train Cleaner

• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment
• Full training in the operation of this equipment will be provided
• A practical and theory test will need to be completed and passed after training
• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing if necessary
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, if needed

Job role requirements as a Train Cleaner

• Are you comfortable working alone and in a team?
• Do you have the ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload?
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided.
