Zusammenfassung

ABM is seeking a Cleaning Operative to perform a range of cleaning tasks across desks, kitchens and toilets in a 20-hour weekly role. You will maintain high hygiene standards, use PPE correctly and support events when required.

You will work as part of a team or independently, following company policies and schedules, with attention to detail and timely reporting of issues to supervision.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is beneficial.
• Able to follow PPE guidelines and safety protocols.
• Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Capable of working alone or in a team.
• Willingness to support events with extended hours when required.

Aufgaben

• Dust, wipe and disinfect desks and surfaces.
• Clean kitchens and toilets; empty waste and top up consumables.
• Disinfect high touch points and perform detailed cleaning.
• Follow group and company policies; report issues to line management.
• Use PPE properly and follow training provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.

Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 4AM-9AM or Monday -Friday 2PM-7PM with the flexibility to work 5PM-10PM for events

Hours: 20 Hours

Location: CV7 9JU

Salary: £13 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Your duties will involve cleaning, hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, kitchen, and toilet cleaning. You will empty waste and top up consumables. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
• Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
• Any other duties as assigned by your manager to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the business will be communicated to you

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance role would be beneficial, though not always essential
• Understanding how to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be able to follow company policies, cleaning protocols, and safety regulations.
• Ability to report any issues, communicate training needs, and provide feedback to management
• Willingness to take on other duties as assigned, supporting the team in various cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Good attention to detail
