Job summary

ABM at Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London is seeking experienced cleaning operatives to perform a range of housekeeping duties. The role covers a 40-hour week with shifts from 08:00–17:00 or 21:00–06:00, with the worksite located at Canary Wharf.

Applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented and able to work as part of a team or independently. ABM provides the uniform, and offers a comprehensive benefits package and support through the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Washrooms, toilets, showers; maintain sanitary standards.
• Hard floor cleaning, spot cleaning, spill clean-up.
• Carpet spot cleaning, vacuuming; clean kitchenettes, seating areas and tables.
• Reception, lifts, entrance doors; maintain general standards.
• Dusting and upkeep of corridors, stairs, meeting rooms and offices.
• Touch point cleaning and sanitising; fogging as required.
• Undertake other duties as directed by supervisor/manager; uniform provided.

LOCATION: Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 4QZ

PAY RATE: £14.80 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

SHIFT HOURS: 08:00 -17:00 or 21:00 - 06:00

Experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to details preferred. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. To carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties as directed by the manager or supervisor

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include:

• Washrooms / Toilet / Showers / maintaining standards topping up consumables
• Hard floor Cleaning / Spot cleaning / cleaning spillages
• Carpet spot cleaning/ vacuuming Cleaning Kitchenettes / Seating areas / Restaurant tables and floors / Waste removal maintaining standards
• Reception / lifts / entrance doors / general maintaining standards
• Dusting, maintaining the standards in all common areas ie; corridors / stairs / meeting rooms / offices
• Touch Point Cleaning & Sanitising Fogging
• To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holders capabilities, according to the needs of the business as directed by the supervisor/manager
• Uniform & training provided

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Previous Cleaning/Housekeeping experience preferred
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Smart Clean Appearance
• Can work as part of a team as well as working alone
• A proactive/can do attitude to work

ESSENTIAL:

• Candidates must be punctual, trustworthy and have a good eye for detail.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
