Job summary

PSS group is seeking a Cleaning Operative to perform on-site cleaning duties at Grays Shopping Centre. You will follow the schedule and health and safety guidelines, keep cleaning cupboards tidy, and report hazards to the supervisor.

Ideal candidates are flexible, polite, and reliable, with a willingness to learn. Training is provided, and overtime or weekend work may be required.

• Flexible and reliable, able to work overtime/weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

Hours

• Sunday 10-1430


• 21 Hours in total per week


• overtime available for covering site holidays/sickness


• £12.71 per hour

facilities management and more.

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines


• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor


• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.


• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor


• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues


• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly

Ideal Candidate:

• Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & Holidays


• Ability to follow instructions


• Polite and professional


• Willingness to learn


• Flexible and reliable willing to do overtime & weekends if required


• Experience preferred but full training provided


• Good self-presentation (uniform provided)
