Job summary

PSS group is seeking a Cleaning Operative to perform on-site cleaning duties at Mango – UnitH8 Silverburn Centre, Glasgow. You will follow schedules, maintain hygiene standards, and report hazards. Full training provided; overtime and weekend availability is welcomed.

The role offers part-time hours (12 per week) with a pay rate of £13.60–£14.60 per hour depending on day, and uniform is provided. Ideal for reliable individuals with a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Overtime and weekend flexibility may be required.
• Good personal presentation and professional conduct.
• Training provided with no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning to specified standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean designated areas as scheduled and instructed by Manager/Supervisor.
• Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and stocked.
• Report hazards or issues to Manager/Supervisor.
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored properly.

• * Monday to Saturday 2 hours per day
• * 12 hours per week. 07:00 – 09:00 hrs paid
• * £13.60 per hrMonday to Friday £14.60 on Saturday

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• * Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
• * Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• * Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• * Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor
• * Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues
• * Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly

Ideal Candidate:

• * Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & Holidays
• * Ability to follow instructions
