Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Cleaning Operative at Chivas Brothers in Kilmalid, Dumbarton. You’ll help maintain high cleaning standards across production and office areas, supporting a safe and comfortable environment for everyone on site.

This permanent, full-time role offers steady hours: Mon–Thu 11:00–17:30 and Fri 07:00–13:30, totaling 32.5 hours per week. If you take pride in your work and enjoy teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely following instructions.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or shortages.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent standards across the site.

Location: Chivas Brothers, Kilmalid, Stirling Road, Dumbarton, G82 2SS
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 32.5 hours
Working pattern: Monday–Thursday, 11:00–17:30; Friday, 07:00–13:30
Contract: Permanent, full time

What you’ll do

• Clean production and office areas in line with agreed schedules and site requirements.

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming and mopping.

• Empty bins and dispose of waste using the correct site procedures.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following instructions.

• Report maintenance issues, hazards or cleaning supply shortages.

• Work with your colleagues to maintain consistent standards throughout the site.
