Job summary

Vertas Group in Doncaster is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the Facilities Team at Walton New College. You will work 13.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm, 42 weeks per year, helping maintain high cleanliness standards across classrooms and communal areas.

The role requires independent working, reliability and good communication. An Enhanced DBS check is required (if you don’t have one you must obtain it).

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it.
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting.
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.
• The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind.
• The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation.

About the Role

Based at Walton New College - Hurst Lane, Doncaster, DN9 3HG, you will be working 13.75 Hours per week, Mon - Fri 4pm - 6.45pm, 42 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
