Job summary

Veolia is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our UK team at Kingswood House, WS11 8JP. You will perform daily cleaning of all office areas, including desks, floors, carpets, and hard surfaces, and you will maintain restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and communal spaces to the highest hygiene standards.

The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 21:00, with Veolia benefits and a supportive environment that values safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Physical fitness and stamina for manual cleaning work.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of all office areas, including desks, floors, carpets, and hard surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and communal spaces to the highest hygiene standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and materials in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment faults, or hazards to the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Respond promptly to ad-hoc cleaning requests and spillages.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and completed tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
