Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a school location. The role involves maintaining a clean, tidy and safe environment for pupils and staff, with duties across classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared spaces.

You will help with waste management, supply replenishment, and safe use of cleaners and equipment. We value reliability, punctuality and the ability to work both independently and in a team, following Health & Safety procedures.

About the role

Join our school cleaning team and help keep the school clean, tidy and safe for pupils and staff.

You'll be:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas

Emptying bins and replenishing supplies

Using cleaning products and equipment safely

Reporting any issues or hazards

Working as part of a friendly team

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual

Happy working independently and as part of a team

Comfortable with cleaning duties

Able to follow Health & Safety procedures

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential

This role is subject to the required safeguarding and pre-employment checks.
