Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead a dedicated cleaning team in the East Kilbride area. You will supervise staff, coordinate rotas, conduct on-site training, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

The role starts with early shifts from Monday to Saturday, requiring strong organisational and customer service skills. This position offers opportunities for progression within a large facilities management group.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and be flexible with hours/days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms and assist as required.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruitment.
• Identify training needs on-site and maintain training records.
• Handle investigations related to accidents or disciplinary matters on-site.
• Monitor cleaning products, maintain stock levels and submit orders within budget.
