Job summary

OCS is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead a dedicated cleaning team in the UK. You will oversee all cleaning operations and supervise staff to maintain high standards across floors, washrooms, and common areas.

You will manage rotas, holidays, audits, and recruitment while identifying on-site training needs and ensuring HR compliance. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to prioritize deadlines and adapt to changing hours.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field is desirable.
• Experience staffing, rotas, training and HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and be flexible with working hours/days.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms (and other ad hoc areas).
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruit new employees when required.
• Identify training needs, conduct training where possible and keep training records on-site.
• Involvement with investigations such as accidents or disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning products, maintain stock levels and submit orders within site budgets.
