Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a highly organised Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across floors, washrooms and communal areas. You will supervise staff rotas, training and site audits, ensuring adherence to budgets and safety standards.

The role requires experience in cleaning leadership, strong customer service, and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. This is an on-site position with a shift pattern 06.00am–12.00pm, Monday to Saturday, at Eastbourne sites.

Qualifications

You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or a related field is desirable.
Experience with staffing, rotas, training and HR compliance.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and adapt to varying hours.

Responsibilities

Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms and other ad hoc areas.
Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruit new employees as required.
Identify training needs on-site and conduct training where possible, keeping records of training.
Assist with investigation matters such as accidents or disciplinary concerns.
Monitor cleaning products, maintain stock levels and submit orders within budgets.
