Job summary

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking a committed Cleaning Assistant to join our facilities team. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment for students, staff and visitors, working 14 hours per week across all year round.

The role reports to the Site Manager and is essential to uphold high cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate can handle cleaning materials safely, work well in a team, and follow health and safety instructions and chemical labels to ensure a compliant workspace.

Qualifications

  • Ability to safely handle potentially hazardous cleaning materials.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reading skills to understand safety instructions and chemical labels.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the academy.
  • Work under supervision of the Site Manager.

3pm-6pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm-5pm Friday

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit acommitted andhard-working colleague to the role of Cleaning Assistant. This is a key position within the Academy, contributing to the provision of a safe,cleanand well-maintained environment for students,staffand visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and standards throughout the academy building. The post holder will work under the direct supervision of the Site Manager.

Thepotentialapplicant will have:
  • The ability to safely handle and use potentially hazardous cleaning materialsin the process of generalcleaning.
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
  • Sufficient reading skills to understand safety instructions and chemical labels, in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
