Job summary

Stony Dean School in Amersham is seeking a reliable Cleaning Assistant to keep classrooms and facilities clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff. The role is term-time only and part-time (10 hours per week, 2 hours daily after 3:30pm).

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for cleaning tasks, waste removal and safe use of equipment while contributing to a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas of the school to a high standard.
• Sweep, vacuum and wash floors.
• Dust and polish surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Clean toilets and washroom facilities.
• Clean internal windows to a specified height.
• Empty bins and remove waste from the premises.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Site Manager.
• Occasionally undertake non-routine cleaning duties as required.
• Attend training relevant to the role.

Key Responsibilities
