Job summary

Mount Pleasant Primary School in Shrewsbury is seeking a Cleaning Assistant for a permanent part-time role. 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.15pm–5.45pm, term time plus 3 weeks, to keep classrooms, offices and toilets clean and well maintained.

You will follow health and safety guidelines and COSHH regulations with training provided. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential; a supportive team and DBS checks apply.

Are you looking for a rewarding and essential role in a supportive school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Assistant to help us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space for our students, staff, and visitors. As our Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital part in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises.

Your main duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, and communal areas.
• Cleaning and restocking toilets.
• Vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste.
• Following health and safety guidelines, including COSHH regulations.

We are looking for candidates that are :
