Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in the UK. The role involves strategic planning, staff management and continuous improvement to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

The ideal candidate will lead, train and motivate the cleaning team, liaise with clients, and manage budgets for supplies, equipment and staffing. Weekend availability may be required and travel across sites will be frequent.

• Liaise with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide updates on operations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment and staffing.
• Travel between stores as required (Full UK Driving Licence)

About The Role:

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - weekend availability required

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and motivated Cleaning Area Manager to oversee and manage the cleaning operations.

The Cleaning Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of facilities in their area. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and continuous improvement to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate and manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning personnel.
• Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on cleaning operations, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing.
