Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a highly organized Cleaning Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites. The role requires coordinating staff, managing supplies, and delivering high standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction.

You will lead a team, recruit and train personnel, and work with clients to understand their needs, while managing budgets and driving continuous improvement. A Full UK Driving Licence is required for travel across stores.

Working week pattern Wednesday and Sundays off. We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and motivated Cleaning Area Manager to oversee and manage the cleaning operations.

The Cleaning Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of facilities in their area. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and continuous improvement to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate and manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning personnel.
• Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on cleaning operations, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing.
