Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment. You will clean and tidy all areas, including washrooms and canteens, using the appropriate equipment and products.

You will react quickly to call-outs from the client and ensure safety and compliance with Health & Safety policies. Waste disposal will also be part of the role. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided; a Basic Disclosure Check may be required, along with a drug

Qualifications

• Must complete Basic Disclosure Check.
• May be required to undertake drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products; keep equipment clean and safe.
• Respond to client call-outs and comply with Health & Safety policies.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure compliance with waste procedures.

Job description

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties will include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens. You'll use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products. You will ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You'll need to react quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (all training will be provided). You will manage waste disposal.
