Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning & Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day cleaning and general maintenance operations at Yate Shopping Centre. This role is essential in ensuring that the centre remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for both customers and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of cleaning and maintenance staff.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations across the shopping centre.
• Ensure health & safety compliance at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises and report or address maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialist repairs or services.
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance supplies inventory.
• Create staff rotas and manage attendance.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Liaise with centre management regarding operational needs and improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a cleaning and/or maintenance supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to manage a team effectively and work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible and hands-on approach to work.
