South West Norse is inviting applications for a part-time Cleaner role at Wembury Primary School in Plymouth. The position is permanent, term-time, 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 6:00pm, paying £14.04 per hour.

The role involves routine cleaning duties, maintaining hygiene standards and contributing to a safe, welcoming school environment. Training is provided and a DBS check will be arranged.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day cleaning duties carried out to defined standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check and training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning tasks as directed by Cleaning Supervisor.
• Maintain hygiene levels and deliver high standard of customer service to clients and staff.

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Wembury Primary School on a permanent, part-time, basis working during Term Time.

The Role

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.
