Job summary

Wat's Dyke County Primary School in Wrexham is seeking a motivated cleaner to join our dedicated team. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, families and visitors, contributing to a high-quality learning setting.

You will perform cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices and shared areas, using equipment safely. Training can be provided; an Enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience is desirable; however, training can be given.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and shared areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting throughout the school.
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities and replenishing supplies.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.
• Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
• Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
• Supporting the school in providing a safe, well-presented environment for all users of the building.

The Governors of Wat's Dyke County Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Cleaner to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that our school provides a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, families and visitors. Maintaining a high-quality learning environment for all pupils is a key priority. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate attention to detail and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and shared areas.
