Tividale Community Primary School is seeking a hardworking, reliable cleaner to join our team. The role is 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the school.
Hours are from 3.30pm to 6pm, with some seasonal changes during deep-clean periods; a flexible approach and willingness to work during holidays are required. An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out, and safeguarding is a priority.
Tividale Community Primary School wishes to appoint a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic cleaner to start as soon as possible following clearances. The contract is Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within the school.
Duties will include vacuuming, polishing, clearing litter, deep cleaning and using powered equipment such as vacuums, shampoo and buffing machines. It is desirable for the applicant to have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment. Please note that this is an all year round post and the postholder will be required to work during some of the school holiday periods. The working hours will change during deep clean periods to mornings so flexibility is required.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
