Job summary

Tividale Community Primary School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic cleaner to join the team. The post is 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 6pm, with duties including vacuuming, polishing and deep cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Flexibility is required for deep clean periods and some holiday work. An Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school or similar environment.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
• Flexibility to work during some school holiday periods and deep clean phases.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, polishing and clearing litter.
• Carry out deep cleaning and operate cleaning equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation to required standards within the school.
