Job summary

Newcastle City Council is seeking a reliable Cleaner Supervisor to join Facility Operations in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role covers early and late shifts, with a 25-hour week from Monday to Friday, ensuring high standards of cleaning and welfare across council facilities.

The post requires flexibility, good teamwork, and the ability to work with children and young people. DBS checks and training are provided, along with a range of employee benefits.

Recruiting to the following vacant posts: Cleaner Supervisor

An opportunity exists for suitable individuals to work within the Facility Operations as a Cleaner Supervisor at: - Newburn Manor Nursery School. Newburn. Newcastle Upon Tyne.

25 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 06:00am-08:00am and 3-00pm-6-00pm

Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services.

We have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chef’s and chef’s working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings.
