Job summary

Hamp Academy, part of the Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust, is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment. This part-time, term-time only role is 10 hours per week across 44 weeks per year, at Hamp Academy. Salary: Band 3a, Point 3.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to ensure our learning environment is clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely
• Carry out deep cleans during holiday periods
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas
• Follow Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures
• Work as part of a supportive and professional team
